The Original Mama Maria's in Tarpon Springs, Florida is a great dining experience. Mama Maria's is a family owned and operated restaurant, and Mama Maria actually does the cooking. The menu is filled with various appetizers, sea foods, pastas, sandwiches, and Greek specialties. Types of dishes include; Mousaka, which are layers of eggplant, potato, meat sauce, and cheese, topped with bechamel sauce, Grecian Style Sauteed Shrimp, which is Gulf shrimp sauteed in extra virgin olive oil, fresh garlic, lemon zest, and herbs, with a splash of wine, and many more delicacies. Mama Maria's provides a very home-style atmosphere, and on select nights, Demetri performs Greek and International songs.

Hellas Restaurant is located in the Spongedocks on the Anclote River. Hellas features award winning Greek cuisine and authentic Greek pastries. This restaurant is also family owned and operated, which gives a nice home-style atmosphere. The menu includes many appetizers, and authentic entrees. Some of the Greek speacialties include; Spanakopita (spinach pie), Tiropita (Cheese pie), Dolmades (stuffed grape vine leaves), Keftedes (Greek style meatballs), and so much more. As far as desserts go, Hellas offers Greece's finest pastries; baklava, kourambiethes, melomakarona, katifi, and other delicious treats.
